LANDOWNER FAQS

Questions Before You Sell?

Here are the questions landowners are most likely to have before submitting a property to Property Relief Group.

What types of property does Property Relief Group buy?

Our primary focus is vacant land and residential infill lots, particularly properties that align with active builder demand. See our What We Buy page for more detail.

Do I have to make repairs or improvements?

No. Vacant land is reviewed as-is. You do not need to improve the property before submitting it for review.

Do you charge agent commissions?

PRG does not charge a traditional real-estate listing commission when purchasing directly. Any transaction-specific terms will be stated in the written agreement and closing documents.

How fast can you close?

Our standard target is 30 days or less, subject to the written agreement, due diligence, title review, and any issues that must be resolved before closing.

What happens after I submit my property?

We review the property and relevant market information. If it appears to fit our criteria, we contact you to discuss the property and potential purchase terms.

Am I obligated to accept an offer?

No. Submitting property information is only a request for review. A transaction is not created until both sides execute a written purchase agreement.

What if I inherited the land?

You can still submit it. Before closing, the title company will need to confirm ownership and that the person signing has authority to sell.

What if I owe property taxes?

Submit the property and disclose what you know. Taxes and other title items are reviewed as part of the transaction and title process.

What if the property has flood, wetland, access, or utility issues?

Those issues can affect value and whether a property fits a buyer's criteria, but you should not automatically self-disqualify the property. We can review the facts.

How do I contact Property Relief Group?
